INTRODUCTION

This is a blog dedicated to using a quiz format to enhance our knowledge of the SEERA (history) of our beloved Prophet. The reference documents shall be Ar Raheeq ul Makhtum.

WHY AR-RAHEEQ-UL-MAKHTUUM?

Ar-Raheeq-ul-Makhtum (meaning The Sealed Nectar) is one of the leading books on the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah exalt his mention). 

It is authored by Safi-ur-Rehman Mubarakpuri (may Allah bless him for his effort)

The heart of every Muslim SHOULD be filled with the love of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and the love of the Messenger of Allah is an asset for any Muslim. Ar-Raheeq Al Makhtuum goes into the details of the lineage of the Prophet (SAWS), his message, his jihad and his social interaction.  

It is indeed a great reference point for whoever wants to know the entire lifestyle of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

My OBJECTIVE

Buoyed by the need to devise ways to entice myself and others to read and know about the life of the greatest of creation, our prophet and messenger; i have carved simple questions out of the seera to enable us test ourselves and to remind ourselves same of details we may know but have forgotten.

These questions would usually come with possible answers to enable us make informed attempts to answer. Answers shall be posted after each quiz.

I ask Allah to ease for us this task, to grant us istiqaamah and to strengthen us now more than ever with the LOVE of Rasool (S.A.W)

“… Indeed, there has come to you from Allaah a Light (prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)) and a plain Book (the Qur’aan), wherewith Allaah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light, and guides them to a Straight Way” [al-Maa’idah 5:15-16].

May Allah forever guide our steps in all that we do.
